Morale of that story -Don't be found on American soil when you are violating the Trademark, Copyright laws of America. If they find you they can jail you and order you to cease and desist and that order can be enforced in any federal court in any district in the Country where they find you. Unless he has sold his interest the Federal Judge is still going to hammer this guy with a huge damage award and I bet channelsurfing.net will be ordered closed permanently and any company like this new channelsurfing.eu or .co will be shut down if he has simply set up a new corp and retains controlling interest. They are still utilizing the trade name channelsurfing which was owned by the Defendant and the Court has personal jurisdiction of this guy's person to enforce any Injunctive order and damage award. It may take awhile but Channelsurfing is going to be history. I've been down this road and this guy ain't going to get away with just moving channelsurfing to another country because the Federal Court still has him personally by the balls. I'm sure it will be replaced by any number of non-US companies.

im too lazy to look up a recent article i read about this stuff, but he's not the only guy doing this. and assuming that a number of the .eu sites originate overseas (which a number of them do), our court system is going to have a hard time policing it. europe has extremely liberal views on trademarks and copyright laws so good luck getting them to stop.

edit: they could just take a page out of China's playbook

good point. this guy was stupid not to offshore this deal. I guess the new one is in Europe .eu.

Seems like they could make this a subscription based legit model. TV service is starting to get antiquated in terms of selection. People want stuff on demand whenever they can get it.
ESPN 3 is pretty good. gives them one extra channel.

Did we ever figure out who produces our All-Access feed?

Appears to be the same people that did the original moon landing video.
