My guess would be you would have to towel off after each bite with them also.

what's your big rush? have you ever eaten there before?

if so, you know it's not THAT great.

if not, it's not THAAT great.

it's fast food. better than McD's, not close to a real hamburger.

get a t-shirt and get over it.

Envy nothing. not really any comparison. we're not a QSR. we're a sports bar that serves hamburgers and other food. 8 oz and 13 oz hamburgers.

here's the deal. In-n-Out is not bad for a qsr. but it's not in the same category as a hand formed & seasoned patty. the avg. patty size at I-N-O is 3oz.

all i've ever said about them is that they're better than your run in the mill QSR, but not the best (and certainly not the worst). yes, they use fresh products hence their expansion strategy surrounding a distribution center. but good lord, the hype about them is unfounded. once they are here, and the shine is gone, hopefully we can all chill out about it.

again, no envy at all regarding the burger itself (sure, would i like to have 250 stores throwing off a couple hundred grand a piece annually? you bet)

Still under construction. Wood/particle board walls at this point.

I went to watch the NCAA games today at the Overtime Tavern, which is where the old National Sports Lounge is, and I have to admit, I was very pleasantly surprised. The food at NSL was terrible, but my burger today was terrific. A little greasy, but not overly messy, and the burger had loads of flavor. Wheat bun was a perfect match, although I don't know enough about food critique to explain why. The onion rings were pretty lame, but the burger was exceptional, and considering how crappy NSL was, a really impressive burger - definitely worth a return trip.
