I stand corrected. Good for the conference.

No more than UTEP. Those schools have countless opportunities to prove themselves throughout the season and if they do not make a strong case for themselves I feel no pity for them.

UAB was the right thing for the NCAA to do. They were the undisputed winners of the C-USA regular season. Everyone felt they were a lock when they won the conference outright, I am glad to see that not change, even after they got upset in the first round.

Congrats to the Blazers!
Probaly won't happen...BUT...maybe it will!!

It's been mentioned the selection committee removed the emphasis on the final ten games of the season. That is what killed Colorado, IMO.
But good to see UAB get some love and respect by getting one of the final at-large bids.

I've got no problem with UAB over UTEP; better resume

I do have a problem with Florida a #2 seed? really? and Tennessee in? obviously those early season wins did it for them; they were hardly stellar in conference play; 7 from the Big 10? I'm also tired of hearing all the Big East talk; will be pulling against them

happy that CUSA got at least 2 teams in; hopefully our other teams can make some noise in NIT, CIB and certainly the CIT

The ESPN cast & crew is just tearing into the committee for picking UAB and VCU.
You would think they just murdered the entire basketball teams of Colorado and Virginia Tech.

The "experts" are tearing up UAB. I do not think I have ever heard such outright bad mouthing of a school and the selection committee. There are complaints every year but this is vicious.

I changed the channel....enough guys ----you made your point, but they kept going on and on. UAB better play well on Tuesday night...prove them all wrong.

Jay Bilas actually said he wondered if members of the selection committee knew if a basketball was round.
If UAB ever needed motivation, they should just record this ESPN show and play it on a loop the next two days.

Meh, they have to fill 2 hours of this stuff. To me it feels like it's scripted that some team gets designated as the punching bag. And then it wears off after the show ends.

It's really not a big deal that Va Tech, Colorado or Alabama didn't make it. I'm fine with UAB being in.

But I do agree with Jay Bilas that the game is in a lull period. I've come back to enjoying the game a little more -- SMU's better season helped -- but it's still not a great game.

A lot of double-digit loss teams are in this field -- more than ever?

Richmond got shafted. A 12 seed? C'mon.
