The site says TCU leads the series 512-495-57. I guess we have played the game 1064 times.

The first game was played in 940, 126 years before the Normans invaded Britain. Is it safe to say this is longest, continuosly played sporting event in history?

No, it's true. Early fans of the game included William the Conqueror and Bede the Venerable. Bede was a fair to middling halfback himself.

It's those damn 57 ties that I can't get over. We never go for 2 and the victory.

Didn't some of the Merovingian dynasty attend some of the games. I mean Christians vs. Methodists had to be important to Jesus' heirs, right? Just kidding guys. Don't go debating the Da Vinci Code.

I know it's not a scientific poll, but the opinions are much closer than I expected.

Yeah, when the rivalry started, the food court in the student center was called the "Charlemagne Course..."
