One Thing The CIT has Going for It

Postby Treadway21 » Wed Mar 23, 2011 10:32 am

We have seen more activity on the basketball board than we saw all season (or in a couple of seasons), so its got that going for it. If we had lost in the first game, we still would probably seen an uptick in interest on the basketball side for debate.

Debate is good for the board it is really boring when nothing is going on or we all agree on something. I am just glad we have something interesting to talk about this time of the year.

Now let's win this thing.

We shouldn't win this thing?

Just bought 4 seats low in section M, so I am thinking there are still great seats available.

That slightly worries me, we should at least have a solid crowd by now in the good seats....

Stop by Ozona's before the game -I assume the regulars will all be there.

I fully intend to. I brought my SMU gear to Midland so I can go straight from here to Ozonas. Nothing like a 5 hour drive and pre-game excitement to develop a thirst!

The SMU British-accented bloke that took my ticket order told me that "Kickoff is at 7."

Ally's a good bloke and probably prefers futbol to football. I'll be sure to make kickoff.

From what I hear he is a very handy football (futbol) player himself. But in fairness to him also, I have always had a tendency to refer to intermissions at the symphony as "halftime", even when I was playing.
