Pro Day

Postby friarwolf » Mon Apr 04, 2011 3:45 pm

The new field looks great but the players seemed to have troubles with slips on it. Heard that about 15 scouts were there. Aldrick didn't run but caught passes from Zack Eskridge from Midwestern State. It was just Aldrick and Patrick Fleming...

About Al's 7th or 8th pass, he dove for a low throw and seemed to ding his shoulder. That seemed to shake Eskridge and from that point on, it seemed like he tried to guide the ball to make sure Al didn't have to stretch to catch a pass. Al dropped 2 passes and let another that was probably in reach go over his head rather than lay out for it - obviously protecting his shoulder. I think Patrick Fleming caught all 15 or so passes thrown his way making several nice catches on passes behind him or low.

Zach was a recruit to frogland and transfered to Midwestern State were he put up good numbers.
His father ( a partner of mine) played QB in College out in California. Zach is big & strong and can even run.

Sorry Aldrick dinged his shoulder.
It must have been rough between 40 + mile an hour wind and brand new wet turf.

I hope they all get picked up!

Wouldn't they have to periodically replace turf in there, too?

Hansen did a little lead-in, but rest assured, he surely he wouldn't come to our campus, would he?
I'd like to think he would be barred from entering, but we can't do that, of course.
Wasn't that George Riba who actually covered the event?
