Saturated fat does not cause heart disease.

1. Fats and Fatty Acids in Human Nutrition. Annals of Nutrition and Metabolism, 2009; 55 (1-3).

2. Siri-Tarino PW, et al. Meta-analysis of prospective cohort studies evaluating the association of saturated fat with cardiovascular disease Am J Clin Nutr 13 January 2010.

I'm a pretty big guy, and I can eat a lot, but I'm pretty sure I couldn't knock that thing down in two meals.

Not being a doctor or scientist of any kind, I found one website that suggests that I (as a male between the ages of 31 and 50) should consume about 2,200 calories in a day.

The BEEF ALONE in the Heart Attack Grill Quadruple Bypass has an estimated 8,000 calories.

I won't even think about the quad, but when this place opens, I'm going.

I count around 4 servings of vegetables - almost the recommended amount per day!

Why wasn't this added to the burger wars thread? Maybe its because these burgers are epic enough on their own

Wash it down with a glass of wine and you have added a fruit group.
It makes sense to me.

on a completely different note, I've been to Seasons 52 for lunch 6 or 7 times. Nothing on the menu is over 400 calories. It's good, and perfect for a working lunch place

That's more veggies than I normally eat in a day. I might have to make a trip to Dallas ... for health food.

Would a cigarette or cigar after the meal count as a spice or garnish or something?
They are made from a plant, after all. :D
