Smu has a hiring policy that requires a signed job rec be posted for X weeks before an offer can be made.

There were delays in the paperwork. Now we wait.

Any day now, but I said that last week. Paperwork, paperwork and more paper. Hope it's soon, spring ball.

Is the Ganz hire a sure thing and is it a touchy subject?

It is for sure...and not touchy, its a good hire....I would have preferred a younger texas hire, but as shown the guy has serious credentials as a coach, and we had serious deficiencies on special teams last year....

His dad basically got us to the Hawaii bowl, (we won at least 3 games purely on special teams) hopefully he has some of the same magic...

Looking forward to a improved kickoff and punt return team this year....

Nothing is official. I would think it's likely, but HR can mess up a recipe for ice.
