DL Jeff Savage (6-4, 260) of Smackover, Ark., has an offer from Missouri State and is expecting Arkansas and Louisiana Tech to offer at camp. He is hearing from Clemson and wants to attend a camp there this summer. Other camps he plans to attend are Mississippi State, Tulsa and Missouri State. Some schools planning on evaluating him during the spring are Ole Miss, Mississippi State, SMU, and Central Arkansas. He says several others have contacted him and may come as well. He did not name a favorite.

How can you not like a defensive lineman named "Savage" from the town of "Smackover"?

But he is from Arkansas, couldn't we find a better player in Texas who was just as interested?

Yes we could probably find about 400 whose best offer is Missouri State. Interest neans Jack until someone offers.

Are you bagging on the guy? What if he also gets offers as expected from Arkansas and La Tech? What if Clemson offers? I know it would greatly reduce your available material as the certified board smartass, but it's not a good idea to make claims a guy can't play without gathering all available info. Epecially when the guy is considering coming here.

BREAKING NEWS: It's the May evaluation period. Guess what college coaches are doing all across the country right now?Stallion wrote:Yes we could probably find about 400 whose best offer is Missouri State. Interest neans Jack until someone offers.
THEY'RE EVALUATING PLAYERS.
And they may just be.....http://www.dramabutton.com/ ......offering players in the coming weeks.....http://www.dramabutton.com/.....
You may not have known this. But in order for a college program to offer a kid, they need to evaluate him in person or on film, get to know him and decide whether to offer him.
I'm just trying to help.
