8) :D

What else can be said... SMU is putting a recruiting class together that... well at least is started with some BIG MEN!!!!!!!!

Yes we can use a QB a CB and a few receivers but SMU wants
FIGHTERS, STUDS, people with ATTITUDE and big mean spirited guys.

Don't think you can be a dummy or slacker and get to SMU? NO

We invite the strong, smart and agressive to come to Southern Methodist University.

Be a winner like SMU

Yeah, these OLs are the start of a nice class (has anyone confirmed Hickman yet?), but we have to have an infusion of linemen every year. If we load up on a lot this year and then don't get more in the coming years, then they'll all graduate at the same time. We need a steady flow of linemen coming through.

we can't get these big men in fast enough. Until we reach a point where we aren't dominated in the trenches every week, there will be no turnaround of SMU's football fortunes. I'm looking forward to the point in time (2006?) when SMU lines up a 2 deep dominated by JRs and SRs on the OL and DL.

I want to see us go 3-deep.

At least.

Personally, I would have liked to see some backups (Peveto, Boren) get more snaps.

Why is Kenard Burley not considered a possible backup?

How serious is Darrin Johnson's injury? Poynter looks like a solid replacement, but if Johnson can't go, does that mean Poynter has to play every snap? (Come to think of it, didn't Justin Boren play some tackle in HS? Is he an emergency fill-in there?)

We need five more OL and then 5 DL's for this class.

Come on Johnathan H., join the herd.
