It's 'official'. After what happened in Ft. Worth, this is no longer the 'sunshine' board.

OUCH

No excuse for not playing better. We all wanted a win, but TCU is good and maybe TT is not so strong.

Everyone send support for SMU and coach Bennett. Recruit, Grow and Get Better.

You're right on all counts.

OUCH - this hurt.

There was no excuse for not playing better. And you're right that TCU is better than Tech. A lot better.

We need to stick to our guns, so to speak, and continue our support of this team. There are two many people - players and coaches - working too hard for it not to turn around. Last night was depressing, but as someone wrote here, the season starts in two weeks against San Jose.

Being at the game Sat. night reminded me of the last time I saw a game at Amon G. Carter...I lost a bet w/ a friend & had to go watch BYU beat TCU. Thing is, BYU bullied the froggies then, but I did get to watch the same group of BYU Cougars get all they could handle by the Ponies at the Cotton Bowl (overtime game, ultimately a loss).

I couldn't help but reminisce thatSMU team with an effective pass rush against a great passing offense and a competitive offense. So far, I've bought into the 'we're on the right track to be better...' Saturday night, however, did lend itself to some additional concern.
