The Status of our defense

What is the status of our defense? Are the players hurt going to be out for a while? I Nnabuife out for a while? We definitely need a cornerback. I was thinking if we could have something close to what we did against Tech we might be able to play with them for a little while. I know Adami is out. It seems like OSU plays a little like Tech. Tulsa gave them a little of a fight. Is Tulsa just back to the way they were last year? I just think we could have a similar situation to the Tech game in Stillwater. I duno. We always seem to play worse against OSU, but they have always played close to Tech.

Actually, OSU plays nothing like Tech. Tech throws all the time. OSU, with a freshman QB and no Rashaun Woods had only eight passes last week (when they ran over UCLA) and relied on the run again in their win over Tulsa.

And unlike Tech, OSU is very fast and aggressive on defense. They create a lot of push from their defensive line, and they'll mix up a lot of different looks.

Other than that, they're identical.

Having said that, however, the game should be closer (I hope) than the carnage in Fort Worth. We seemed extremely flat against the little froggies. With better effort alone - and hopefully some guys returning from the training room - I'm hoping we give a good showing.
