At 94, former Texas Governor and member of SMU Board of Trustees has passed according to DMN.

Just read in the papers. Mr. Clements was always very generous when it came to giving to causes he believed in. He did a lot of good things for SMU, sadly the Death Penalty will be the one thing most people will remember.

It pisses me off that SMU was asleep at the wheel while UT Southwestern got Clements to give them 100MM. Imagine what we could have done with that kind of money. Someone should have gotten canned for letting that happen...............

- Finishing out Westcott Field so it looks like a college soccer stadium
- Indoor practice facility
- Completion of Moody facelift
