UCF's 4 Star QB Recruit Asks for Release

Kid is drama. I wondered what this kid was thinking on signing date-he was talking about starting as a freshman-apparently completely unfazed by fact that UCF has a QB already that will be starter for 3 more years

Given the gap and that Rivals said UCF had 3 4star players, I don't think we catch them.

SMU #1 in CUSA on Scout, #47 in nation. I don't know if that is pre or post this announcement.

ucf finished 38th in Rivals. It won't be updated. They do have a preseason Enrolled Rankings but I think they only go 1-25

Question on eligibility: If this player doesn't enroll in School Next year, does that count as sitting out? Would he still have 4 years of eligibility if he red shirted again? When does the NCAA clock start?

I think once you sign Letter of Intent you have sit out 2 years to go directly to another Division 1A school UNLESS YOU GET A WAIVER. I think there is a backdoor way of going to Prep School or JUCO and leaving after only a year IF YOU NEVER ENROLL at that first school. Not exactly sure but note this kid didn't like his alternatives and backed off his threat
