Who forsaw witmeister's "toilet bowl" comment? That comedic genius catches me off guard every time.

I was having lunch commiserating with a UNC grad today. He recalled how Mack Brown (a name we all love) was 0-11 and 1-10 his first two years, 3-8 the next and then the Heels went on a run. After the Heels did not commit to extend his contract, he headed for Austin. In other words, it takes time to come back from the dead. Bunting now at UNC inherited a bowl team and has now run the program into the ground (as Cavan did here). This is a learning year for a young team. We all predicted 3-4 wins this year. Let's cheer these kids on and hope that this team makes progress each game. We now know that Tech is not the team that they were last year from their loss to a good New Mexico team. The Frogs are much better than we thought.

EastStang is right (at this point)...The TCU shalacking made me want to vomit (at least when I saw the score on the ESPN ribbon), but the season is young, and we did show positive gains in the Tech game. Hell, the DMN gave us like 4 articles that Sunday...

This weekend is a killer for us...we WILL NOT win, so don't nobody go gettin' your stupid hopes up for a miracle...

But the game after begins our WAC play, and we just might win a few this year... 3 or 4 wins would be a huge improvement, like it or not, and Bennett will stick around. 1 or 2 wins, that is likely and should be expected...An O'fer and Bennett can look for another defensive coordinator position at some BCS school...

Dems da breaks...it sucks, but that is the best we can hope for at this point.
