Here's my holiday wish list for Coach Bennett:
• Safe and quick move from Manhattan to Dallas for his family
• A Kansas State win over Syracuse in the bowl game, since Bennett reportedly will be there in the stands, cheering on his former team (and it helps that I absolutely hate Syracuse)
• A quick completion of his coaching staff
• A recruiting class that reflects the ties and relationships already established by Coach Bennett, his brother, Coach Ringo, Coach Giles, and the rest of the Mustangs' assistants (new and old)
• At least two "surprise" signings in this year's class, players whose names alone add to the excitement generated by Coach Bennett's arrival
• And at least 5 minutes of sleep between now and Signing Day

Here's one more for your list:
A quick adjustment to their new school for his kids, and a group of new friends for each of them.

At least it was KSU's offense, not defense, that forgot to show up.

Another wish for coach Bennett: a change of mind for Darrin Johnson, who needs to come back to SMU!

For Coach Bennett:
A good night's sleep and a little "hair of the dog" to recover from KSU's hide-tanning by Syracuse, so he can give up sleeping for a month and kick some tail on the recruiting path.

Hope he finds some more players for Baylor!
