How do you respond when you’re de- friended?

Postby One Trick Pony » Fri Jul 22, 2011 10:49 am

1) Do you use other media connections to contact the person who de-friended you?
2) Talk as much smack behind their back as possible?
3) Think what it was that you could have possibly done to deserve this betrayal?
4) Don’t worry about it just go through your friend’s lists and start clicking.

If you're defriended, just chalk it up to the "oh well". You don't want to become a cyber-stalker, a cyber-bully, or a cyber-ahole (or at least give credence to any such assertions). The person may have had like 20 gazillion friends and decided to just trim the list to people they actually know well. Another possibility is of course that having you on the list was causing people not to befriend the former friend (see South Park episode on social media).,

I know it's happened to everyone. I was curious to see a variety of candid answers from our countries most educated. Plus the board is getting slow..

The first time it happened I said "But why Mom". Since then I have just ignored them.

Furthermore, when you request a friendship with no response, how does this make you feel LOL?

The first person I de-friended was my evil sister and her daughter.
