What's next, Folding Chair Night?

The first 5,000 fans to enter Ford Stadium will receive a free folding chair courtesy of Frank Francisco and the Texas Rangers.

Careful, our marketing guys will really toss it around...

Frankly, if it would help the team win and get butts in seats, I'd be thrilled with "Roadkill night." "Clothing optional night." "Millard Fillmore Appreciation Day." Anything...

Wait... maybe not "clothing optional night," for two reasons:

1) Aren't we having a controversey about players watching the stands instead of the game; and

2) I'm a big man (6'6", 300- and no BUS, I've used up my eligability) and that wouldn't be so pretty...

No, it's not a joke, the ad was in the Park Cities section of the Dallas Morning news this past Wednesday. Haven't seen the Park Cities People yet, it might be in there as well.

No need to read it ever again, because they don't cover SMU anymore, unless it's to profile a Highland Park guy. They're just like the Park Cities News - uesless.
