perhaps the "field is still not level" with regards to academics/athletics at SMU with the rest of Div 1 football:

After running a kickoff back for a touchdown, senior University of Virginia RB Marquis Weeks stated:

"That was just instinct. Kind of like running from the cops".

First I laughed then I thought how great it was that university gave this kid a chance to better himself: to even better his family and neighborhood and the nation.

You didn't hear? We're doing the national anthem for the A&M game in 2012. Followed by an edited version of Neil Diamond's "America," then the novelty song "Aggie Aggie Poo-Poo Head." You know, just to get the Pony faithful revved up.
