Is this year's recruiting distribution among coaches that much different from previous years?

Most programs have 4 or 5 guys constantly working, with 1 closer/R.Coordinator....

Just have to be careful not to load all the eggs in one basket...esp when UCLA is on the verge of bringing in a whole new staff

Is the coaching staff betting that the success they are starting to see in California will carry over into Texas recruits. If SMU continues to sign solid three star and the occasional four star from Cali will the Texas recruits start taking notice?
How many of our coaching staff have strong ties to the Texas HS as opposed to California HS?
Of course as the old saying goes, winning cures most of the problems.

Feels like the butterfly affect in CFB...a UCLA running back tweaks his hammy, UCLA drops a close game on the road, team suffers from a letdown, don't reach bowl eligibility, fire Neuheisal, bring in a brand new staff, notice a successful west coast, young recruiter at a non-BCS school...

Go Bruins!
