Re: New Board Style
I don't mean to be annoying, but has there been any progress on being able to click next to the topic where it takes you to the last post you read in a thread, like with the old layout? It makes it so much easier for us losers that visit multiple times a day.
Also, for the people using IE, if you are able, I highly recommend switching to Chrome, light years better than IE and the new layout looks great on it.

This board atyle is being used at other college athletic websites too, advertisement formats rule. A step back if you ask me. Tiny print is a problem and other garbled stuff is continuous.

The forum still does not work/format for me while using internet explorer. It's completely [deleted] up. (I have to use IE7 for work - default)

Go to user control/prefererences/change blue to saphic and you will have the old style. Don't know why they don't advertise this stuff.

Read the first post in the thread. "Advertised" pretty clearly.

Re: New Board Style
The last couple of days I have had a terrible time getting the board to download. When I click on Football, for instance, the iRobot shows up but nothing else. I have no idea what the problem is but I am spending less time on Ponyfans because of it! (BTW I gave a Roomba to both my brothers for Xmas and they love them!)

This happens to me occasionally. I have blamed it on my old computer but maybe there is more too it. Lately I have had no problem and right now it is doing well, but sometimes I have to continually refresh to get the screen to load fully.

$10 a month shared hosting vs a dedicated server will do that. Ever notice when you post during game time multiple attempts are needed.
You can get your own box for about $150 a month... free service users never complain lol

I agree with the no complaining. The only thing that confused me is the sporadic times it occurs. It is not during peak times usually. I have always thought it was due to some of the ads or banners that support the cost so I would never complain about that.

the ads can slow it up too...

Any chance we can get back the feature from the old format that took you to the last read post in the thread? Such a time saving feature.

This is the reason I still read the board in the 'old format'.
If it's ever added to the new one, I will switch over.

To me, it seemed like the refresh/hangs increased in numbers when they announced the support for tapatalk. Don't know if it has anything to do with it or not but noticed it more frequently afterwards...
