That's actually a pretty nice point to make, although I'm sure it will draw the ire of a few.

Although the quality point is a good one, the zipcode of a recruit does not matter. Let's get the quality equivalent of Texas Top 100 types. If they're from Cali or Kalimazoo, it just doesn't matter.

A corollary to all of this. It is unwise to judge the quality of a recruiting class based on a Texas-centric view when a major part of the staff's strategy is to pick up quality recruits outside of Texas. The net effect is to skew to the negative, something not helpful when those doing said analyses tend naturally to be negative people anyway.
