all I know is 14-0 OSU, midway through the first, lots of turnovers early

OSU goes for it 4th and 2 from the SMU 16, hands it off and scores, 21-0 OSU

Crap. And plenty of it. That old standby, the C. Phillips quick kick, got returned 45 yds. on a 4th and shorth...which led to OSU getting into the red zone & a 4th & short...at which point they run for a 16 yd. touchdown.
The offense seems improved, but don't you worry...the special teams have shown their ability to be a weakness also. [end sarcasm]

OSU's drives have been 38, 37 and 37. They haven't snapped the ball outside the SMU 45. SMU has about 6 first downs and at least one in every drive except one. Phillips int. was off SMU player.

Nice 11 yard run by Dorsey and nice catch and run by Cleveland SMU still has first downs on every possession except one. 17 yard run by Phillips.
