Football and Cigars

Postby smudubs » Sun Aug 07, 2011 10:57 am

As I'm sitting here reading Ponyfans and smoking a cigar, I am wondering how many other readers enjoy fine cigars and spirits? Then I started thinking if any of those would be willing to meet somewhat regularly to have a smoke, drink, and open discussion of SMU athletics. We don't have to all agree, the only thing that I would ask is that we don't bash any particular poster on this board. Their ideas, however, would be open for candid discussion.

We could rotate this around local cigar bars. If any of you are interested, and not too many of you say you are, I am willing to provide the smokes and drinks for the first meeting. My drink of choice is single malt scotch. Let's see where this goes? I'm old fashioned and actually enjoy face-to-face conversations.

While not an aficionado of either, I enjoy both cigars and scotch. I am game.

I thought after reading the title of this thread that it was going to be about Bill Clinton and Monica

I'm not hardcore but I'm down for a good cigar from time to time. Keep me updated.

Great idea. Though I don't live in Dallas, pls advise what cigar bar you're meeting at because I'm in Dallas occasionally & would love to come by!

I'm at cigar bars here in LA once or twice weekly. They're great!!!

If you go to AK you will be smoking with Sarah Palin. But that is fine because she is smoking hot.

Maybe NickSMU17 can come down from Chicago and you and he could smoke a 'peace pipe' instead of a cigar?....lol

I'd buy him a beer. Why not? We're all in this together.
