We Must Find A Way To Beat San Jose State!all i can say is we better win next week!
is san jose state any good? C-ya @ Milos!
San Jose State will have huge, fast linemen compared to us. You can count on that. Its been that way for several years and they re-load from jucos. Thats not to say they are good, but just on size alone they have a huge advantage every time we've played.
given that we can't score, and SJSU can, i'm not expecting a win.
i'm disgusted with our lack of offensive performance. losing is one thing and i fully expected to lose all 3 games to teams with superior talent. but our offense is pathetic. i had planned on coming to dallas for the sjsu game, but i am not going to another game until i see that we can score some points. i just can't take it anymore. two seasons with this inept offense is really getting me down.
WAY TO GO MUSTANGSI am a parent of two Ponies, first of all I attend numerous practices the kids are great people. SMU football players work hard every time i'm out there, they are young dedicated and proud young men. Everyone of those kids have a story to tell about their lives. I get on here and read all these negative quotes and you guys don't have an idea how hard they work. The coaches are some of the best men I've met in a long time and you give them no credit. I wish you guys would get on the bandwagon and be there for those kids and coaches they work hard day in and day out, a little praise and pat on their backs go a long way. SMU'S time will come and you will be able to say GO MUSTANGS with a diehard ponyfan's true heart. Those kid's need us NOW and believe me i'll be there at practice, games, and at home for my boys and any other mustang kid who needs my support. GO MUSTANG PLAYERS AND COACHES FIGHT ON FOR SMOO UNIVERSITY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BR Stang: everyone knows we were physically overmatched these 1st 3 games. As or the Morgan State comment, SMU tried to get out of this OSU game and substitute Grambling, but it didn't work out. Give these guys credit for fighting their guts out, but these 1st 3 games have really taken a toll (injury wise). Let's just hope we have enough healthy bodies to fina way to beat San Jose. I agree it's critical to the future success of this program to stop this record losing streak.
Hoofbeat: I've got a hunch we are going to see a lot more offense this week. At least we are reasonably healthy on that side of the ball and will match up better with San Jose's athletes. I hope more than 7-8,000 show up to support the guys. It's time to see what this new offense can do.
SCAMP: I don't think anybody on this board has ever questioned how hard these guys work or their commitment to winning. The early schedule has been brutal and anyone with a realistic bone in their body knew it would be. We all know the key to this football program's future is the attitude of the players, not a few whiney posters on this board. We may have been physically overmatched in these 1st 3, but we find out this week how much fight the guys still have in 'em. Hope yours manage to stay healthy.
Me too. SCAMP6381 is a great addition to this site. I couldn't agree more that the team needs us, as fans, more than ever, and I for one am there for them. I'll be at Ford early next week, ready to yell my lungs out. The current list of injuries is simply brutal, but we're going to get things straightened out Saturday.
Go Ponies!
Re: comments .... remember that players and recruits read this board. If something doesn't go well, constructive criticism is fine. But let's stop with the blasting just for the sake of blasting. It won't help get more good players here.
We need to win. We WILL win. Go PONIES!
