Re: Tuesday (8/9/11) practice report
hmm.....if that's the case, could've given Hagar's scholarship to Centers.... although, I'm sure it wasn't that simple.
Re: Tuesday (8/9/11) practice report
Really, didn't his father spend 14 years in the NFL? They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security

Re: Tuesday (8/9/11) practice report
but, wasn't that back in the day when players were paid thousands and not millions?
Re: Tuesday (8/9/11) practice reporti guess i completely missed this about centers and hagar yesterday.
appears hagar just really didn't want to be here since i don't recall any injury issues. suck about centers if it really was a tuition thing. he seemed to get a lot good ink from the coaches. Derail the Frogs!
Re: Tuesday (8/9/11) practice report
Centers did sign at least 1 multimillion dollar contract (3 yrs-7.5 million, 1.5 million guaranteed). Tuition is the last thing I'd have thought LCJ would have left for. Suppose there's a lot more to that story. They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security

Re: Tuesday (8/9/11) practice reportI talked to Larry, who is disappointed to leave SMU, and said that his parents' divorce led to some financial struggle for the family, "and this is the unfortunate result of it." As a walk-on, SMU was too expensive for him to return this semester.
However, Larry was very clear about the fact that he didn't want to leave SMU, which he said "is and has always been where I wanted to be, and I had high hopes for the season. (It) just didn't work out as planned." PonyFans.com ... is really the premier place for Mustang talk on the Web.
