I bet you ask all the kids on the team, and they would much rather spend a week in Hawaii than Memphis.

I bet if you ask the 7-6 conference champ Mustangs where they want to go, they might say Hawaii.

But I bet the 9-4 or 10-3 or even 11-2 Mustangs where they want to go I think they'll say Memphis to play an SEC team and prove themselves to the nation.

If we have an opportunity to play an SEC team, we should take it. More SMU fans would attend the bowl game if played in a new location (ie home stadium or expensive Hawaii trip).

Well, we're not going to win 9-10 games so I wouldnt get too excited about BCS games or the Liberty Bowl just yet.
