Re: More Aggies Musing On Potential New Big 12OU can't do anything without Okie State.
Back off Warchild seriously.
Re: More Aggies Musing On Potential New Big 12
perhaps. Until push comes to shove.
Re: More Aggies Musing On Potential New Big 12OU, and the SEC have relied on Texas players for decades. A$M offers the best option (outside of UT) for SEC exposure. OU brings a great athletic program, but very little to recruiting. OU has to offer a lot compared to A$M for SEC consideration. OU is probably willing to move, but is OU a better option for SEC schools over A$M?
Re: More Aggies Musing On Potential New Big 12A&M and the SEC have scheduled weekend President's meetings to discuss their athletic futures. Looks like the move is a done deal. As a football fan, I will enjoy watching SEC football with A&M in the mix. I will be rooting against them most weeks, but I have to believe that they will immediately find themselves beating Ole Miss, Miss State and possibly Arkansas on a regular basis. They are certainly better than, or on par with, Vandy, S Carolina and Georgia most years.
Re: More Aggies Musing On Potential New Big 12If you were a really top notch recruit and UT AND A&M came calling - and a&M was in SEC and UT not.... i think i go with the aggies. This move will change the balance of power within 2 yrs between those two schools.
Re: More Aggies Musing On Potential New Big 12The Aggies could be in the NFL and there is no way in hell I'd join the Cult*

When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.
