WHY? Illinois and Northwestern will be the most likely options from the Big Ten. Conference USA gets the slot this year, and it'll either be SMU or Houston to keep the Texas crowd close.

WHY? Houston, Southern Miss, UCF, East Carolina, SMU, and Tulsa are all going to be in the hunt for the Conference USA title. Tennessee would be a dream to fill the Memphis house, but the Georgia/South Carolina loser and Mississippi State should be there for the taking, too

The Ticket City Bowl is the only possible way I can attend SMU's bowl game this year, as I am expecting little Mustang #2 on December 29. But if they decide to go and win a conference championship and go to Memphis without me, I'd forgive them.

I wish but as a presason unranked nonAQ school, even if we a)go undefeated, b) the Aggies win every other game they play including the Big 12 Championship, c) our good conference USA opponents have good 8+ win seasons, and d) no other BCS school is undefeated we still would not get into the national championship game. Even if all 4 happened next year the Aggies would still go in before us, and so would any other 1 loss BCS conference champion (with the possible exception of the ACC or Big east) would go in a head of us. Honestly I would expect certain 2 loss conferance champions to still be put in infront of us.
Best we can hope for is a BCS bowl where I am sure they would but us against either another non AQ team (because they don't like having BCS schools get embaressed by losing to these teams/ having one of these undefeated teams at the end of the year) or the lowest auto BCS bid team aka big east winner.
