So, TCU and A&M can get tickets out to visitor fans, yet SMU still hasn't distributed tickets to season ticket holders who paid in full months ago?
Anyone else find this not to be Top 25 in everything we do?

Easy. SMU is selling nice glossy season tickets, not office printed tickets. They were trying to get as many people as possible in the printer run so that you have "nice tickets". I don't blame them one bit. We still have a full month before our first game.
22 days til first game. So only three weeks out.

The tickets I got from A&M seemed pretty "glossy".

Unless things have changed, they get reams of nice blank tickets from a company and print them in the office. The glossy blanks are a one time order, they can print on demand at SMU.

What a great perk of having a sold out stadium so you can make an early printer run. I'm just saying, pick your battles folks. Getting your tickets two months early shouldn't be in your top 100 list of concerns...
I'm not arguing that I should have had them over a month ago. I'm arguing that I should have them in hand 2 weeks before the season kicks off. Haaven't we usually had them by mid-August in the past? Please tell me what is so different this year?

Thanks, RE. Sounds like the "one-time run" argument is out the window.

When their available on line you can send the ticket to your email via your account portal. Those tickets can then be scaned from your phone at the gate This process negates the original ticket and barcode and was $2.50 per ticket last year Yea email last minute tickets to your friends co workers, tease small animals, slices, dices, makes julian fries..
