On the the Scale of Corruption -Cutting through the Bullshit-he hits the Target-Miami's depth of unethical conduct so far comes no where close to the corrupt core of SMU in the 1980s. We may learn that it goes deeper but the evidence isn't there yet.

Its one thing to have Rogue Boosters
Its one thing to have Rogue Coaches
Its One thing to have Rouge Athletic Directors
Its one thing to have Rogue Compliance Directors
Its one thing to have Rogue President
Its one thing to have Rogue Ad Hoc Committee of the Board of Governors
Its One thing to have Rogue Chairman of the Board of Governors
Its one thing to have a former Governor of the State of Texas who authorizes and covers up all of the above after 5 probations in a decade in order to get reelected Governor

The farther down the Scale of Corruption Miami goes the more likely they are to get the Death Penalty
"With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris

When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.

All the way up to a former member of the President's cabinet

Not to mention, AD who presided over ncaa enforcement

Head bball coach

Maybe..who knows. Were still wasting our breath..even if shalala dee haith and Shannon were running this since 2002 and were photographed in a hot tub smoking cigars w nevin, only gonna see reduction in scholie to 12-15 a year , some vacated wins and a "probation" of little consequence

I've seen pretty convincing evidence on the Head Basketball Coach and several assistant Football Coaches. I haven't seen anything convincing above that. Story is still developing but since you have already concluded it went higher why don't you point us to evidence establishing that the AD and President had knowledge of the illegal inducements and authorized and approved them. Showing some pictures of Loser Boy shaking their hands doesn't cut it.

The NCAA hasn't spent any time on this compared to the time it dedicated to getting SMU. It will be hard to compare the two programs unless or until that happens.

Yes, SMU cheated. Yep, it was bad. But a ut grad writing this op ed piece. It just smells bad too. We all know ut has never cheated. Randy Shannon knew about Shapiro, and warned his players. Sure, I believe the admin and prez at miami didn't know. And monkeys are flying out of my bottom, whoa.
