4 star National Top 40 SG Rashard Woods commits to DePaul today after SMU was in final 3 according to the Insiders. Close but no cigar doesn't count in college recruiting.

Close does not count in plaintiff attorney's cases either.
On a positive note, expect some really good news soon out of basketball. I know for a fact we are close on our scholarships. Not able to say just who at this point...but once the hay is in our barn....buy your season tickets because they will be a hot commodity.

OK, so if you're not going to share names .... what can you tell us? Big guys? Guards? Local?
How many are we signing this year? Simpson, Castro and Isham are graduating. Anyone else I'm not thinking of?

Well be on the Blvd. This Saturday and look for a really tall young man. You can not miss him.
When you see him... go up...introduce yourself...and tell him how much you look forwrd to seeing him play B Ball at SMU!
Key to this .... you have to be on the Blvd. and the game.

The attitude dictates that you don't care whether she comes, stays, lays, or prays. I mean whatever happens, your toes are still tappin'. Now when you got that, then you have the attitude.

Stop teasing!
Hope we get him, whoever he is, and that he's got some ability and mobility to go with that size.

I heard he was 8 foot. But he is thinking about some other schools so we pulled his offer.

Has the Ponies EVER had a player who's 7'1"? I remember Greg Kinzer and the great Bobby Holkan - I think they were 6'11" and 7'0", respectively. Anyone remember anyone taller?

Not any taller, but John Koncak at 7' and 250 pounds was by far our largest.

7'1? Can the guy move? Is he aggressive? Sometimes those guys can be gentle giants.

We appear to have a connection with Lithuania since we now have two players on the roster. I no absolutely nothing about the guy being referred two, but wouldn't be surprised if he hails from there!
