Saw the headline "Irene Weakens on Trip to New England." Evidently followed Obama's path on vacation since his numbers did the same.

I've thought that through as well. Most of July and part of Aug next year ill be in NM.

I'm going on 36 hours without power at home. Cut out around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, still out. Luckily the office had power. Stuff in fridge is kaput. Church let us use their freezer. Well ours needed defrosting anyway.

Power restored at 4:25 p.m. yesterday. That's about 41 hours. The fridge is now officially empty (although the beer seemed to survive).
