McDermott played well

Postby SMU 86 » Sun Sep 04, 2011 10:14 pm

Considering he got less snaps during practice being on 2nd string. I like how he does not telegraph his passes and goes through his progressions.

He had his moments, stuck a couple deep outs showing zip I don't recall seeing from Padron, Took a lot of sacks though.

So does Padron. Also, some of the reason he held onto the ball may have been that all our receivers were covered.

My brother, who has never watched an SMU game, was accurately picking each WR that McDermott would throw to (if he got the ball off at all) on almost every play. He telegraphs just as bad as KP.

Only difference was late in the second half, he could stare down DJ and the A&M D was just giving them the big cushion . We have a major QB problem.
