1) Padron caved
2) The OLine full of seniors looked soft.
3) The WRs were running bad routes
4) The secondary looked intimidated.
5) The DLine played scared.

At least Zach Line ran hard.

really, what made us think we were ready to go into Kyle Field and win or even go toe to toe? I'm sort of embarrassed but i also didnt think we were ready for the challenge. A&M is good, they were focused and motivated. Once the SEC thing became so huge i knew we were going to run into a buzzsaw. Now next week or the week after, A&M might be more ripe for an upset after the SEC announcement gets made official.

I don't think he was talking upset or toe to toe but the line was like 16 or something. We lost by 32. In the 4th year of a program with the offensive and defensive systems fully installed we should have play at least close the the line.

no doubt, but when you turn the ball over and whiff onside kicks, you can't hang with a superior team. It spiraled out of control and was ugly.

No doubt a$m had better athletes in the secondary. And really strong receivers. And O-line that simply dominated. That isn't what battered me. What bothered me was the total lack of any consistent D line work. NO plays made by the D line. THe backers couldn't wrap up and tackle.

THe on side kick was a killer. And a long field all night long is killer. Having a 65 yard drive means nothing if one is constantly started inside the 20. Hunt's block and Orsini's interview were the highlights.

it was disappointing but i have to think they haven't been tested enough to be in game shape. these same guys hit some people last year, so not sure what gave tonight. I give benefit of the doubt for a few more weeks, through the TCU game. We won't have any excuses if we don't hit TCU in the mouth.

Hats off to A&M for a dominant performance.
Big talent difference between the teams.
But Smu was outcoached, and outplayed in all phases of the game.
Hope they can learn lots from this one, or why schedule it?

worst onside kick ever! would have been better if he completely missed the ball instead of the backwards heel kick. don't recall ever seeing that one before.

way worse. And it was laughable that Orsini was talking about being invited to the big dance (AQ conference) as A&M was scoring and was giving us the beatdown.
