Says he's 100% committed to SMU and will help us recruit. Stallion (or anyone else) what do you think?

I hope the rest of the coaches begin to get it! If you don't knock on their doors you will never get a top notch recruit. Maybe they can start knocking on the doors of some top Texas kids instead of waiting until next May. Last night should be a wakeup call for the entire staff--you can't compete without the players. As Berry Switzer said on his success as a coach--"I always had the better players!" It not the system its the players

OK...deep breadth on the ranking talk. Currently, ESPN has all 27 QBs listed in their ESPN150 list for 2013 ranked as 5 star and #1 ranked QB (see link). By all accounts, 2013 is supposed to dwarf the last couple years in terms of QB talent, so a top 10 ranking may be optimistic. That being said, would not at all be surprised if he ends up a 4 star on Rivals. Looks like there are 18 4 star QBs in the class of 2012.

Just wanted to add that ESPN did not have a single 5 star QB in the class of 2012, so their rankings are no less conservative. Expect all of those players ratings to be updated in the coming year. Nonetheless, should be interesting to see how highly Printz is rated.

This kid could of gotten an offer from pretty much wherever he wanted to go. It is so early in his recruitment and he already has 6 BCS offers. This kid will easily be the highest rated recruit post DP. No doubt other kids will follow him here.

Ha, OK. I think you're missing the point. Quoting the title "ESPN 5 Star" and mentioning #1 QB recruit in the nation isn't accurate. They haven't even distributed stars/rankings yet. More than likely, he'll be neither. Regardless, he's a hell of a prospect.SMU 86 wrote:Adrian Klemm said that he is arguably the best QB in the country. I tried to find some early Scout ratings or Rivals ratings but couldn't find any. Rivals won't have theirs out for about 10 months. They'll be ranked after they go through the battery of camps and tournaments. But the reported offers from BCS schools this early looks great-step it up. That's the point-you want to win big you need recruit big. It won't get done by simply coaching up secondary prospects.
