The passing comment about "alternating" (which was a joke that obviously flew over your head) when made was based on a thread on Rivals started by the owner of the SMU Rivals site at 9:20 many of us have access to:

"June Jones just told me that J.J. McDermott is the starting quarterback on this football team. Padron will still play and Jones said the two will alternate. But again, McDermott is your starter."

At least we now know we have options.

You really think Padron was a Top 10 QB last year? If anyone puts together a list of the best QBs from that season Padron isn't even in the Top 20.

Anyone else amused by the fact that the poll at the top of this thread keeps leaning closer to McDermott now that the decision has already been made?

Had one go over 100, can't remember which one. Might have been the one to decide if Mitch and Stallion should have a fight to the death.

So Stallion if you had evidence of record where Jones said "the two will alternate" why did you make the passing remark "if he decides to alternate" ? You being an Attorny should know the necessity of accuracy.

I believe this is you spinning again, weak..

I know you are tired of losing this argument... I am enjoying your misery...

shades of Tom Landry in the Staubach vs Morton year; at least our QB would not have to make a round trip to the sideline after every play

Maybe we should update it to a death match between Stallion and RSFan

Kyle Padron 2010 Statistics:
Pass Yards: 3828 - 8th Nationally
Pass Attempts: 508 - 7th Nationally
Pass Completions: 302 - 9th Nationally
Pass TD's: 31 - 9th Nationally

That's all I'm saying.

Honestly with 14 games played (the majority of which were against inferior opponents) I expected much better overall numbers from him. His rating and completion percentage are bigger indicators of his effectiveness and those were average.

One Trick Pony....

I don't think you have the facilities to be my worthy adversary so I will leave you quoting June Jones from the Dallas paper.

"Jones said Kyle Padron, his starter for the last season and a half, will also likely play at some point during the game".

Now if you have access to a dictionary this may enlighten you of what the coach has ACTUALLY SAID.

Not a fan of rotation - will be interesting to see how much Kyle plays. He hasn't played well for quite a few games.

I was in the crowd so I didn't have a viewpoint....

Did we have any chance to throw downfield against A&M during the game? - if not protection or coverage?
Does D'Rick have the wheels to do the long ball routes that ES and AR did?
Can JJ make that throw?

You were done as soon as you led off with that weak sauce the first time. However the smile on my face is beginning to hurt so if you are done that's fine. You have not brought anything worth my attention anyhow.
