Josh McCown

Josh McCown has just been named the starter for the Jacksonville Jaguars. He wasn't very effective at SMU which is getting to be quite a story. Seems like if he is good enough to be a starter in the NFL, he should have been good enough for SMU. SMU has had a string of really good prospects at quarterback over the years. But since Ramon Flanagan, they haven't really taken advantage of any of them.

Luke (Josh's younger brother) is the starter for the Jaguars not Josh, Josh just got cut by the 49ers. You're still right though.

Actually, his brother Luke who played at Louisana Tech is the one who is starting for Jacksonville.

Josh was recently cut by San Francisco.

I tended to blame Cavan for most of SMU's problems in those days. But the real problem may have been deeper.

Gregg, Rossely, Cavan, Bennett, Jones. Are we going to get there in my lifetime? It's beginning to look like not.
