I think it will be worse than that for them. The MWC has parity. There are no Army's, East Carolina's or SMU's out there (except arguably UNLV). There will be many more chances to lose out there. Add in the thin air at AFA, CSU, BYU and Wyoming and well its going to be tougher on the road. I'll bet the NCAA won't even let the players keep those frequent flyer miles.
not to mention that in addition to the altitude, they will be playing an hour or two later than when they play here b/c of mountain and west coast time.
I was talking to a good friend and die hard Frog last night. he said that they are lucky that they got admitted into MWC last year, because if the decision was now there's no way they would have considered TCU over Fresno. Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally
Re:
Ummm....the clock goes back going east to west. If it's 7 p.m. in Ft. Worth, it's 6 p.m. in Colorado and it's 5 p.m. in California. Wouldn't that mean they're playing earlier?
I believe they are referring to starts at 7:00 pacific are 10:00 starts eastern - as in "later" for the part of the country that controls media attention. Not sure why they are "lucky" to have gotten in - it will be a bad move in the long run - starting with immediate recruiting issues. Mama can't drive to Wyoming to see junior play, and she sure as heck can't catch the game on t.v. or radio. Instant obscurity. But hey - we got our own problems.
