1243 was last years. This increase is very nice - should play very well for us in next year's rankings

Need to get it above 1300. If we can keep increasing the score by similar intervals, it shouldn't be much longer.

I guess that depends upon our athletic programs & specifically - football.

As a wise man saith: It is what it is.
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

Great to hear. How much has the growing engineering school influenced this upward trend? Good engineering programs are always known for superior SAT math scores and good verbal scores.

I am sure it has helped. We are attracting a higher caliber of kids. The growing number of Hunt and presidential scholarships is driving it as well.

How many PS kids should we have by the end of the second century campaign? It is obviously an expensive scholarship but it attracts top notch students that impact the overall university tremendously.

We are getting into much better territory - pulling away from A&M - we are a solid number 3 in the state - and getting close to UT. Getting over 1300 average would be huge.

Yes, the old scale. The writing portion is ignored for the most part........
