Fox ContractI'm on board with the increased coverage and exposure on FOX although I haven't gotten to see any broadcasts-but what I really miss are the ESPN online replays so you can analyze the game performances better. You'd think they could be made availiable on-line especially since their competitor already does

Re: Fox Contract
The Fox broadcast has permitted me to watch our first two games here in Chicago on Comcast, which has wide coverage in this area (very pleasant surprise). However, ESPN does not give much attention, as a result. Two edge sword. Pony Up
Re: Fox ContractI said it last week, but I am really liking the new Fox Contract. The promote the games hard and having the team get on TV Sundays as opposed to random Tues is an improvement.
Stallion, you just have to TIVO the games like I do. ![]()
Re: Fox Contractand they don't pimp all the time upcoming games
during espn games ,announcers always atalk abt other games than playing. Mustang from India
Re: Fox ContractRecord at home and watch there.......unless you were trying to do it at the office on your clients dime.
Not judging.
Re: Fox ContractI have recorded both games and have gone back to watch the replays. Fun checking out how some new players are doing, and also to see how fubared some things are. Only thing that has irked me about the coverage so far is the frequency of wrong names being called.
Re: Fox ContractAlthough I cannot get FSN on fios up here, I was able to (somehow?) watch the game on local comcast sports net. Hope that will continue, otherwise it is back to the crappy online feed.
Re: Fox ContractFox contract is only good so far.
I like the CUSA showcase during the week, even though it's kinda low rent production. And my friends who live in different parts of the country have been able to watch on TV so far. Much better than a random internet feed. ![]()
Re: Fox ContractI am extremely happy that we're finally getting some reasonable media coverage. I attend at least all the home games, but I still like to be able to go home and re-watch the game.
Plus, when the 'Stangs are traveling FSN is oh so much better than watching an Internet feed streamed to your TV from a laptop. In fact, I'm so happy about this, I'm going to have to find something new to [deleted] about. Maybe the lights! "It's a couple hundred million dollars. I'm not losing sleep over it." -- David Miller
Re: Fox ContractWith the tv schedule this year, I've seen SMU games on consecutive weeks...something that I cannot remember ever doing outside of DFW area.
Re: Fox Contract
Heck, I can't remember seeing them on consecutive weeks INSIDE the DFW area. A lot of times we were lucky if the local news would even report the final score of SMU games. I think this is great for the program! "I don't think anyone around the country has any idea how good we are going to be." - Coach Justin Stepp
GO MUSTANGS!!!!
Re: Fox ContractCoverage Saturday night was good...until Comcast pulled a Heidi with a little over 2 minutes to go in the game. Switched to Major League Soccer without so much as a see you later.
Glad the fumble recovery had just occurred so we were up 11 instead of UTEP with the ball and us up by 4. That having been said, good to see us on TV with national exposure. Central Illinois station.
Re: Fox ContractI am either too you, or too old to know what pulling a Heidi is.
Re: Fox ContractAmazing how much time and effort someone took to explain that term
