... that UTEP had negative rushing yardage in the second half.

38 yards in the first half, -8 in the second.

Defense picked it up in the 2nd half. They had to, the offense couldn't adjust to the lights. Maybe they should wear Oakleys.

So none of us are very happy with the team's performance the last two weeks. We see misreads, blown coverages, guys not staying in their lanes, missed blocks, drops, fumbles, etc., etc.

I'm guessing that the staff doesn't teach or condone these mistakes. In fact, I'll bet that the staff and players have been working hard to correct these problems.

Let's look for those much-needed improvements. If we don't see progress (win or lose), if the same mistakes are made again and again, then we can go hammer and tongs after our coaching staff. But for now, it seems unfair and unrealistic to expect the worst.
