It would be really funny if the last two teams were Missouri and KS thus leaving out the whorens. :D

Fantasyland time: Would you be more excited by the announcement "SMU is joining Texas to round out the ACC" or "SMU is headed to the BE to join TCU"?

If I thought that the BE would survive then I would choose them just because of our rivalry with the
froggies.

Large state school and private Methodist school to ACC..... hmm, could history repeat itself?

Baylor and Iowa St may be the ones to go Big East. However, Kansas and Kansas ST as well as Missouri may be more attractive.

Big East is going to be down to 7 FB schools and 15 BB, after Pitt and Syr leave. Adding Big12 remnants would give them Baylor, Iowa State?, Kansas, Kansas State. Missouri could probably get a better deal else where. Tech is mum and hoping to tag along with UT if it can to the Pac-12. That would make it only 11 FB schools, still one shy of having a championship, and have 19 overall. But they don't necessarily have to scrape the Big12 barrel, there are other non-AQ schools they could also go after. Also, the Big East is and will be even a more unstable conference if they expand, still only have a $5 million dollar conference buyout, will be very spread out (probably will hurt tv contracts as well), wide range of school cultures, and have a larger dichotomy between FB and non-FB members. If two more schools jump ship for the ACC (USF?, Rutgers?, WVU?, Cinci?) Big-12 leftovers would probably be better off trying to add schools to the Big-12 instead of going to the Big East.

Where will SMU land? Who knows, just need people to see SMU as a growing value in a desirable location.

I think big east remnants will go to ACC or the Big ten. Acc will lose some people to the SEC, don't forget that....

What ACC schools would add comparable value to the SEC as A$M will and what they already have at the SEC? Maybe Florida State, but Florida might have something to say about that. They will probably add one more school to even out the conferences, but they wont settle for anything that results in less revenue per school. Not all conferences need to have 16 members. Don't think the SEC is worried about being left out of BCS invites given their recent history.

I fully expect the SEC to target Missouri.

Just saw something on the ribbon on ESPN that claims a source has said 8 other schools beyond Pitt & Syracuse have voiced interest in joining the ACC. Looks like the ACC may get the pick of the litter.

This is too funny :!: :!:

I think I like a middle of the pack conference right now. If we can win it a couple of years, or
more in a row then maybe we can think of moving up.
May the forth be with us.

It's being reported on the bottom line that the ACC held the vote today to accept Syracuse and Pitt. I cant find a link for it yet.
