I didn't think either looked accurate. Neither is going to win a game by themselves. And the interception was bad, no doubt. But Kyle has thrown several just as bad. I didn't think JJ looked all that good. But I didn't see anything from Kyle that was significantly better.

To reduce Kyle's angst maybe some Valium, a massage on the sideline before he goes in, getting him leied by June B4 he substitutes for JJMcD. Pickem.

Kyle looked better all last year long than anything i have seen so far from McD starting against weak competition. Kyle was unsettled tonight when he got in the game i agree, but can you blame him? I think you have to pick a QB and ride him, and I would pick KP 7 days a week.

KP has more talent, but he doesn't have the composure, which is a problem after starting as many games as he has. It isn't a new development that just came up after he was benched, its something that has snowballed since last year. I'll take the composed, but less talented, QB any day.

I don't know, i happen to think he had a much better season last year than you do. We played at East Carolina late last November with the division title on the line. KP throws for 330 yards, 3 touchdowns and no interceptions. That's plenty of composure in a big game. Not good enough for you?

thanks genius, F you, the comment was in response to the assertion that KP's problems snowballed from last year. So people can point to his supposedly bad season last year and history of 'happy feet', but the ECU game didn't count? yeah, got it.

Smooches to you too, sugarmouth. I think the point is that what Kyle did last year against ECU is completely irrelevant. He's been a turnover machine in his limited playtime this year.

so 2 turnovers in the first game against the top 10 ranked aggies and a TO tonight? JJMcD had a TO tonight too.
Ok this is getting ridiculous...I agree with Dutch on THIS ONE POST by him totally

After watching them both play tonight, I have to go with KP. JJ had trouble connecting on the short range throws and a couple were thrown to imaginary receivers. True the WR's dropped a lot of balls, but that doesn't account for all of them. KP looked better throwing down field and just gave the game a big play threat that you don't have with JJ. KP has 3 picks, 1 overthrown: 1 tipped ball: 1 hail mary. JJ has 2 bad decisions. I think we go all in and back a big play threat and use Zach Line as our base offense.

The one tonight basically shouldn't count. It was a good call by June with only 13 seconds left. An interception was the same as a punt there. Actually better, because we seem to have no confidence in the kicking game and perhaps for good reason.

I'm guessing JJ starts at TCU, but we have another game to evaluate before then. Neither of them do much very well, they are both mediocre - Padron hangs on to the ball too damn long. They both seem to love Cole B. The pass to TW was nice and the pass to DJ that got called back was a nice play. (can't remember which was QB for either). Our red zone offense needs to plug it in the end zone. Darius Johnson is wide open on that route and neither of them hit him.
Padron just don't look comfortable in the pocket and seems to be not wanting to take a hit. Happy feet or whatever you want to call it.
It's just mind boggling we are in this situation in a QB dominated offense.
We'll continue to see a QB rotation I think. Hopefully next week will be another practice game / blowout.
Man...speaking of TCU --- #7 is going to eat our lunch.

Yeah, like he did against Tulsa (twice), nevada, Rice (twice), Marshall, Houston (twice), Navy, Army (in spite of 2 picks, threw for over 300 with a broken finger), ECU (clinched West Div tile -- over 300 again. If throwing for over 300 is easy, why haven't we seen it this year. JJMc played well tonight (again the first half) but he missed a lot of balls and had another pick and still 1 td pass in 3 games.

There were some games last year where KP got the yards, but played poorly. Anyone go to the Tulane game? See the UTEP game? Our offense, which is designed to score, put up less than 20 points in the championship and bowl game.
Jones sees something in the film, we can't see. After 16-17 starts he expects to see his QB progress, and KP probably wasn't there.
I can't say that I have seen KP go through his progressions. He reads the D and chooses his receiver before the snap.
Hopefully KP gets his head fixed, if not I hope Preston is ready next year.
