I think a lot will depend on now all of this conference realignment shakes out.

What do you base that on? I have not seen anything from him or his dad saying that they expected SMU to get a bump up in realignment, or that it had anything to do with his decision.

Of course, any of our better recruits could be impacted by realignment, perhaps especially him since he is an extra year out compared to other commitments. Is there anything specific you are basing that comment on?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't we currently left out of the BCS and isn't USC currently in the BCS? Not sure why us continuing to be left out would matter unless he was told we are going to be included in the very near future.

My comment was not directed at us moving into a AQ-BCS conference as much as it was dropping to a Sun Belt level if CUSA is raided.

As someone else has said, if we drop to the Sun Belt level we will have a lot more problems than just whether one guy stays committed or not.

As someone else has said, if we drop to the Sun Belt level we will have a lot more problems than just whether one guy stays committed or not.
