Guys, seriously, if you can't see that there are far bigger things in play than the Mountain West, you're blind. If EVERYTHING falls apart (and that includes CUSA), then maybe. That conference darn near fell apart when BYU announced they were going independent - that should tell you something. Trust me, ISU just heard that statement and shuttered like a guy who just lost his date and turns around to see the 80 year old toothless 400lb. gimp winking at him. They are SCARED. I mean:

If SMU can get an invite to the watered down BE, I agree. If not, MWC is a good option (if TCU goes). There is a lot of talk about TCU going back to MWC. I think both SMU and TCU are smart if they partner in this craziness (wither BE or MWC). Just my two cents.

Agreed, if we get stuck with TCU in the BE or MWC it will be an upgrade for us. A MWC with TCU, Boise State, Air Force, Hawaii, San Diego State, Hawaii is a significant upgrade. The reason I am promoting this idea is because I don't see us getting into the left overs of the BE or Big 12.

I'm tired of hearing of everybody else making moves and in the news. SMU was all over the airwaves three weeks ago. Why has that stopped now? Why has our administration gone dark? SO or somebody should atleast make a statement. I feel like we are sipping punch while everyone else is dancing.
