We will knock the crap out of them and it won't really tell us anything at all about the team.

Side rant, I'm pretty tired of seeing quasi-writers in the blog-o-sphere try and pimp Memphis as a quality AQ school. So, let's see, not only do they have a dreadful football program, and facilities, and support, but they have made NO commitment to building a solid program moving forward, which is really what counts. Hoops? Please. Memphis TV market? Please.

It would be effectively adding the WORST FBS team to a BCS conference when they've made no commitment to improve themselves or build a solid program. Plus, on top of that you have all of the other warts...like academics, lack of fans, trying to establish a presence in a state that already has a dominant one (UT).

Now if the light bulb were mysteriously to go off this week, and everything clicks, and one of the two QBs just lights it up...like 60-10 or something obscene, maybe we'd learn something. Still doubt it though.

Don't we want the light bulb to go on rather than off?

No. Our receivers would lose track of the ball.

Memphis is absolutely terrible. This is is certainly another opportunity to get the O humming Zach Line and Co. should be able to run all over Memphis.

We absolutely roll. 45-7.

This should be a beat down. UTEP should have been as well, and we should have put up 50+ last week.

If we get good QB play, this is a 45-7 game, sure, and a great sign of things to come the rest of the season.

I am thinking more along the lines of 27-10 though.... not enough punch to blow them out, and the offense turns the ball over twice for points.

Memphis no longer in Bottom 10. We better be ready.

For now. After a win against anyone you will not be in the bottom by rule.
