Rhonda Rompola On The Benefactor?

Post by regis »

For those who didn't see it last nite, our own WBB Coach Rhonda Rompola was recruited to be a basketball ringer as one of the tasks on the Mark Cuban Show. In the modified game of horse, she missed a mid-lane set shot badly, but then impressed with an eyes-closed layup from under the basket. Way to go coach!

Pretty cool. Did they mention her connection to SMU (i.e. to recruits who might have watched?)

Yes, she was on the show. No mention of SMU at all. The game of horse came down to 2 kids shooting. It was kinda dumb.

Yeah, you'd think that with the rules being "No pro players", the participants would have started with the local college or some former college players. Instead, they were scouting the racquetball courts at the premier club and picking up the first woman they saw at a local YMCA. Was pretty stupid.

Between that "awesome" contest of Jenga in the first episode to the drivel we saw recently, I think this show flat out sucks. I may burn in hades for this next statement: I'd rather watch the Real World.
