Verizon Vs. AT&T
Both my father and I have our contracts w/ AT&T ending the 1st week of Oct and this leaves us w/ some options. Stay with AT&T, like we have for 10 years? or move to Verizon?
What should we do?
I am very tempted by Verizon because of the fact that they will have their LTE network up in almost 150 cities in the US by the end of this year. Does anyone know enough about the AT&T acquisition to convince us to stay w/ AT&T? Their HSPA 4G network is about half as fast as LTE and they only have the LTE network in 5 cities... because they are waiting for the T-Mobile thing to work out I believe, but that could be a long time. And I want a fast phone!
They also carry the Motorola Bionic which could very well be better than the new iPhone 5 that is set to come out. We are also considering the choice between iphone and Android and to be honest, unless the iPhone 5 is something revolutionary we'll be going for the Droid capable phones...the app market for Driod phones has passed the iPhone and the availability of upgrading the hardware for cheap instead of dealing with the logistical hassle of visiting the nearest Apple store is a factor as well.
I would like to have your opinion so feel free to vote for which network and which phone are the best!

Re: Verizon Vs. AT&T
so i want to get a top of the line smart phone, maybe the iphone 5 and you still think AT&T is the best option given that they wont even have a dozen LTE cities by the end of this year and Verizon will have almost 150?
the funny thing is AT&T doesn't even have a phone that works on LTE....the iphone 5 might be the only one for months

Re: Verizon Vs. AT&T
thought about them but they have limited options phone-wise and their network is kind of stuck at the size its at now...they are a distant 3rd to AT&T and Verizon

Re: Verizon Vs. AT&T
Since my first phone (however many years ago that was), I have had contracts with AT&T, Sprint, Verizon and T Mobile.
Sprint has given my BY FAR the best service. In the DFW area, I can't remember dropping a single call. On the others, I'm not sure I can remember a call that didn't drop.

Id go with the iPhone 5 which should come out next month and get it with ATT.
Re: Verizon Vs. AT&T
$ 4 $ AT$T. I have used both and speed tested both from locations around DEW.
IF YOU STAY with AT$t get the ATRIX.
It is the most powefull phone on the market.
AT&T is also less money.
The only thing I don't like about DROID has no screen capture.
