QB Justin Willis

while flipping channels I noticed that a Dallas cable access channel had the Denton Ryan/Lincoln game on TV last night. The recruiting sites all report we have offered Willis. I admit I'm no talent evaluator but it just jumps out at you that Willis does not have a Division 1A arm. I've seen him before numerous times on High School Highlite shows. I'm sure he's a great kid and probably one of the most successful QBs in the state, but the kid OFTEN throws passes that look like Punts. It seems like his wrist turns and he rarely throws spirals. If he does throw spirals he doesn't have much on them. Even the highlites don't display a Division 1A arm.

I read somewhere we might have offered him as an athlete.
Which means he ends up where .... safety?
Surely we wouldn't offer a guy this early if he was seen only as a special teams guy, right?

I've read that he's a real good athlete, if not the greatest pure passer - could he play WR?
